Without delving into the quantum physics definition, the word implies a sensible, logical, ordered ‘wholeness’, with no separate sub parts. To be coherent is to be whole, in alignment, synchronised and with all sub parts in harmony and working together to create and sustain the whole. Coherence comes from a Latin word meaning ‘to stick together’. ![]() So, what’s the big deal with coherence and what does it mean? The Cambridge Dictionary defines it as “ the situation when the parts of something fit together in a natural or reasonable way” and states “ When something has coherence, all of its parts fit together well…”. Whether it’s my particular path that leads me to this word almost freakishly often or whether it really is in almost constant use globally, I don’t know. However, I am seeing it as a buzz word for 2022. I was laughing internally yesterday at the buzz words used in the corporate space that came and went fashionably, one being ‘leverage’. I understand the word leverage is now not in vogue (another article about conscious management and dialogue) but I did come across the word a couple of days ago, referring to how people are ‘leveraging’ new technology and apps to measure their own human biofield health. So who knows…? ![]() The word I am referring to is ‘ coherence’. ![]() There is a ‘C’ word I am coming across over and over again every day in my study, in articles and books I am reading and on TV programmes, YouTube Channels literally everywhere. Very happily I am not referring to the horrible ‘C’ word and maybe surprisingly I am not talking about the word ‘Consciousness’ either. Although the meaning and concept of consciousness is so deep and wide, as humans we could discuss for ever….and probably will do. Consciousness we can dive into another day.
